Heidi van Eldik is a senior executive working for DHL a large global logistics company, within the area of supply chain and contract logistics. With over 20 years of experience and in charge of 1200 people. Leading as a female in a male dominated environment.
Married and mum to 3 young children. Passionate about working with people and building strong close knit teams, as she believes collaboration leads to new ideas and strong solutions.
Heidi's take-home tip:
- The biggest challenge for myself was to let go of perfection. That goes out of the window pretty fast when there are multiple locations and so many teams and people involved. You really have to learn to let go of certain things and delegate. This was quite a journey for me, as I put the bar high for myself and others as well.
